Event Coordinator / Front of House Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the successful administration of all aspects of the club's event operations from beginning to end and maximizing events held at the Heights of Horseshoe Ski & Country Club.

Administration of event operations includes: Site tours with perspective clients at their convenience. All contact with clients after initial contract has been secured. Up selling of event products and services

Attend tradeshow and networking events, Email correspondence and consistent updating of any event details to appropriate team members following company policies and procedures including the Google Calendar.

Set up and execution of in house and booked events, Communicate day after instructions for clients personal property pick up.

Personal follow up thank you email or telephone conversation within 24 hours

To assist in the development of the staff by means of recruitment, orientation, training, coaching and evaluation as outlined by the General Manager.

Responsible for the continual supervision of service throughout the event.

Assists the Executive Chef to maintain event business by way of providing courteous and effective selling techniques.

Education: Secondary School (Required)

Licence: Driver’s License G (Required
